House Rules

We do everything in our power to make your experience with us as simple and enjoyable as possible.
We do have 3 main rules that are imperative for us to keep supporting the community.

Key House Rules

Bags Out The Night Before

You need to ensure that your bags are out and ready the night before the collection. Our runs often start at 5 am on the morning of collection day. Please contact us if you would like us to let you know just before we arrive. Drivers will be searching no longer than 5 minutes for bags, as well as trying to contact you if they cannot find your bags. If they are not able to reach you then they will mark the collection as failed, with a surcharge being applied.

Bag Placement & Location

It is very important to have your bags in an obvious place for the drivers to find them. We prefer your bags to be left on your property for our drivers to collect. You can leave your bags beside your garage, by your front door, or back yard. Please Note, Our drivers are not permitted to open any gate or fence without your permission. Just simply send us a message on Facebook if you wish to leave your bags behind a gate and we will happily get them.

Multi-dwelling units & Gated Communities

It is very important that we get very clear instructions of where to find your bags if you live in multi-dwelling units or gated communities. It is mostly easy for our drivers to find bags in stand-alone houses, but not so much if you live in a unit complex. It is very important to ensure that you add clear instructions of where we will find your bags on your order, and if you missed doing so, just flick us a message on Facebook and we will add the note manually for you.

Bag Size & Weight

Take special attention to the bag size when booking and ensure that you choose the correct bag size when booking. There is no problem if you book one large bag for example and place 2 standard bags for collection as our drivers look at your order total and average it from there. We use relative common sense to judge your bags and say for example, you use 80l bags but booked for 60l standard bags, but they are not overweight, we would let it slide.
If you book a standard 60l bag but it is overweight, you need to book the next size up.
Standard bags are 60l up to 10KG, with Large bags being 120L up to 18KG. If you have larger bags then simply book multiple sizes to make up your large bag, for example, if you have a 240L bag, you can book 4 standard bags.

Failed Collection Surcharge

If our drivers arrive at your stop and are not able to either locate your bags or get hold of you, they will need to mark the collection as failed and move to the next stop. In this event, a $10 surcharge will occur when no bags are collected and time is spent to attempt to locate the bags or contact you. This amount will be deducted from your order, and a partial refund will be made. You will need to re-order for the next available date. If you would like us to attempt another collection on the day and our drivers are close by, a $5 attempt fee will be charged.

Collection Cancellation & Date Moves

You are welcome to cancel or move your order with us if you let us know 2 working days prior to the collection date. A $10 surcharge will be charged if you cancel one day prior to the collection date, which might be waved on discretion, depending on the route.
